Our experience with dfs was very good on the 15th of December 2018 we saw a lady called Elaine very helpful no pressure very explanatory about the product all extras time scale and payment felt very comfortable unlike rival companies we have previously experienced wish we had come here first highly recommended and the service on the first visit was very explanatory no pressure clear and professional from a gentleman called Chris review from Mr S bone and Mrs T bone Clacton on sea.
Plenty of choice for reasonably priced sofas etc. There seems to always be a special pricing event going on, despite the statement that they only have one Sale a year!
Service was unrushed and totally met our needs. The staff were really nice. Can't wait to get our new sofas!
Bought 2 leather sofas and a chair in 2008. One sofa's leg collapsed in the first 5 years. It was repaired. The chair's body is now collapsing as the wood has crumbled. Phoned DFS and lady said she would ask the repair technicians to ring us. Did they?....NO. So I phoned the local branch and explained the situation. I said that I was willing to pay for a repair. She said that once you are out of your guarantee, they do not repair their furniture that they have sold you. I have paid 1700 for all and now believe that in 2008 the guarantee was only 5 years. They informed me to go to an independant upholsterer. Yeah right...your furniture is rubbish...I will come and dump the chair in front of your shop for people to see what you sell.Goodbye DFS
Fab service fab shop and fab quality sofas! Once I'd brought my sofa it was nicely wrapped instantly and even helped into the vehicle! Lovely job and love my sofa!! The man who helped us wasn't pushy in the slightest and listened to everything we'd said. Highly recommend
