Ive been admitted to this hospital about 4 times in the past year. This week just gone, I spent 4 nights on Mersea Ward, apart from blood tests etc it was like a 5* Hotel. When I arrived on the ward I was extremely weak and felt very unwell. From the first minute the care I received was second to none. My first encounter was with 2 student nurses who practically wiped my fears away with their care & kindness. Just amazing. From the rattle of the tea trolley, the porters, the cleaners, volunteers, docs, nurses & consultants, I just cannot express how fantastic my stay was. Well done to you all you amazing people.
We take our NHS for granted.. My wife and I have always been impressed with the professionalism of all staff, always so helpful, caring and friendly - and they have always been amazingly good with our children.. I feel they have an impossible daily task, and just remember their just human (like us), and sadly human error can occur, especially as they are working under such pressure each day.. keep up the awesome work
Originally very good, then got misdiagnosed with three serious conditions and the nurses 'forgot I was pregnant' and tried to inject blood thinner into my belly. They won't check my baby's health after 12 hours of reason to worry. Pretty amazing day staff but the night staff are terrible.
Such lovely staff & so caring! I had to attend the A&E this evening & was given 10/10 treatment from the nurses in A&E through to X-ray! These guys deserve so much more. I couldnt be more thankful for the way I was treated. A big Thankyou to the lovely Lady Dr in A&E I wish I knew her name!
Good and tidy hospital, great staff but long waiting times on most occasions. But where else does not have long waiting times. Need to be prepared to stay for more than three hours in the emergency centre.
