I ordered in for my meal and was surprised at the quantity of food for the amount i paid was well worth it (it lasted a few nights for me).I ordered Raita which was really unique and amazing.Some Paneer items worked well with their sauce.The vegetable mix curry felt a little undercooked but it made it a crunchy curry.there are very few indian restaurants in colchester making the variety narrow but this stands out among them catering for all people.
Decent food at a decent price. Lively sides, although my wife wasn't too impressed with her main - a chicken Tikka Balti.
I brought a meal from these but I had a piece of bark in the rice which stabbed my mouth. (Which made me bleed ) which was supposed to be saffron ???? The rice was two days old and greasy and all clumped togeather do yourself a favour go some where else tried contacting them and Ive had no response Ill keep trying but doubt Ill get anywhere ....STAY AWAY,!, YOU BEEN WARNED.Oh nearly forgot chicken was burned to so the taste of burning over took every other flavour nice papadum tho but my 9 year old can cook them!!!
Loved their momos. The most authentic I have tasted in this side of the world.They make it with so much dedication that you won't leave this place with a stomach which is disappointed:).Nepal Thali is another must try.
Delicious food and great service. Managed to book a table for 8 at very short notice and all of us enjoyed our food. Very well deserved 5 stars, we'll definitely be coming back!
