large station and museum spread over a big area. lots of interesting things for kids from 2 years upwards and trains, buses you can go inside. lots of info about stuff and a model railway and playpark. well worth it !!!

This is a great place to take children (of all ages!). The steam trains and carriages are great for those who remember rolling stock from years ago. The children love being pulled by engines that they will know from Thomas The Tank Engine. A good day out. We've been several times. I have a friend that lives adjacent to the railway and it is fun to see and hear the steam trains passing by.

One for the train enthusiast out of season but more of interest for the general public on steam and special event days. Annual pass is good value if you live locally and want somewhere to take children for a few hours. Certain parts are looking tired but as it is volunteer run you can forgive this. Cafe is basic but not overly expensive. Train driving experiences are good fun.

Visited Saturday 29th December with my partner and our 3 year old son. It was as expected quiet there, but what a little gem this is. We all loved the place and will be visiting again for Thomas & Friends when we can. There's plenty to see and one of the highlights was using the on site cafe and being able to eat / drink in an old train carriage.

Took three year old grandson to meet Thomas the Tank Engine and friends. He absolutely loved it. Tickets initially seemed expensive but proved great value for money with unlimited rides on all the trains. Even the museum proved of interest to him with the highlight being a model of a major train disaster! Haven't been since we took his father and uncle nearly thirty years ago. Still a wonderful day out.
