Just enough shops, a nice walk, very historic area. Good food outlets.
Infrequent services but perfectly placed for the shops and Colchester town centre. Use the main station if going to a football match or concert at the community stadium
Handy for getting to and from town centre or south east Colchester. Small station. Sometimes there aren't any staff at ticket booth, so you have to use a machine. Although there aren't any ticket barriers you do get checked regularly by staff to ensure you have a ticket before accessing or leaving the platform (it's a penalty fare station).
The smaller of Colchester's two (or is it three?) stations. Just a single platform where trains back in and drive out. So nice and easy to use. Few facilities, but there is a little coffee shack.
