Despite being the only customer in the shop, I wasn't greeted by any of the three members of staff. I waited for a while and still no attention. I had to go and ask one of them for help and advice, and that wasn't great either. Good selection of instruments but poor service. The guy at Music Warehouse down the road was so much more welcoming and helpful.
The best music shop for range, quality and price in Colchester. I have been in to browse a few times and the service has been perfect. I called about viewing a Roland JD XI; when I arrived they had it up on a display at perfect playing height, plugged into a crystal clear quality AMP ready to try. I loved it, bought it and have been using it every minute since!Thank you for your patience and your amazing service! Joe
Has a nice range of instruments but many locked away in the basement area and on the first floor by a cord across the staircases, you have to ask and can't just wander around browsing which I personally didn't like. Also, on the few occasions I've visited, stock was not price marked on the shelves meaning you have to ask all the time. Staff are friendly if you approach them - I was in there for 15 minutes the other day and I was ignored until I asked a question - great if you don't want to feel pressured I suppose. Overall a nice store but could be made better by all levels being open so customers could easily browse. Not being able to takes the fun out of it for me.
