Beautiful park. We go on family walks here and often have picnics by the lake. It's lovely, open and clean.

Very popular area with a nice mix of wooded and more open areas to walk, run or just sit and enjoy the great weather at the moment. Small areas of playing apparatus are dotted around for children closer to the turner road entrance with toilets and an info centre in the car park. I presume because of the proximity to the hospital and health centre the car park has a small charge(pay and display) but there is a free car park over the other side of the park just off of Eastwood drive if that suits you better. The park is well looked after and thankfully 99% of dog owners are responsible enough to pick up after their dogs with plenty of bins dotted around the park which keeps the area nice and clean. Great place to spend time
