Beautiful. Needs a route from the station side to the main path. For lack of a path by clairemont heights, or a small footbridge over the river to the field by the road bridge near the ponds and gym, it adds 15 mins to my walk home making it impractical as a daily walk, so i end up walking by all the busy traffic and fumes of the station instead, pressing all the six sets of traffic lights i have to cross instead.
Beautiful natural walking place alongside a river. Note: no toilets or facilities here.
Nice area for short walks. Woods and fields
Beautiful walk, mainly on the level and close to the caravan park.
Meadows along the edge of the River Colne, named after Shakespeare's character Cymbeline in his play. Cymbeline was based on Cunibelinus, a Catuvelauni chieftain who ruled from Camulodunum (Colchester) in he first century AD. His son Caratacus fought Claudius' invasion in 43AD. The meadows lead you to Bakers Lane, and from there you can cross the golf course to Seven Arches, the Victorian railway viaduct over the River Colne
