Very expensive car park. If you are thinking of parking here after a nice meal in town, make sure it's under two hours, or else you will get stung with parking fees.
Price is ridiculous. I phoned to see if there was a height restriction before we made our way there as was travelling from Norfolk. I was told there was no height restrictions but noticed on the pictures of the car park that there was. Lucky i checked cos our other vehicle would not have fitted.
This car park is convenient for shopping in downtown Colchester as it comes out inside the Fenwick's. It also makes it very popular and is frequently very full. The spaces are small, but manageable.
Good car park but the receipt given by the machine does not clearly show the VAT number. This makes it an issue when trying to claim back expenses though a company. Decent vaule and safe parking. If you are staying in the premier Inn hotel down the road you get an discount when parking. It would cost 6 instead of the 10 for 24 hours.
