Love Wetherspoons. Always good food great coffee and so reasonably priced. The Playhouse is a lovely location and good atmosphere. The staff are friendly too which makes a big difference.

Does get busy especially at the weekends and in the summer. You can wait quite some time to be served when it's busy.. but then again most places get like that. The bar is in the middle of the room and you can get served all the way around it, so just sit down or stand anywhere.. your never far from the bar.The foods ok, again normal this type of menu and quality... Suits me fine.I give it a healthy 4****
Really like visiting this unusual Wetherspoons. Still with all the original features of the playhouse and a huge number of famous dummies staring down at you from James Bond to the Queen, it makes it a very unique place to have your dinner and enjoy a beer. Food is very good and service quite fast. Tables could do with cleaning more regularly but other than that no complaints. Saturdays can get very busy.
Always a pleasure to come to, so much easier ordering food using the new app! Food straight to your table. Can be quite noisy due to customers, but this is no fault of spoons. Will be visiting regularly! Great prices and quality food!
