Nicest modern pub in Colchester town. Great selection of ales and s great venue for theme nights and comedy shows. People are very laid back young professionals and postgraduate students.
Enjoyed the venue, they have great music and great beers on offer. My only issue is that they just get so busy. But I suppose that's a good thing really. Will visit again for an open Mic might
My favourite place to eat and drink in Colchester. All kinds of beers, the best pulled pork I have ever eaten and lovely staff. You'll find guests that are old and young, with dogs or children, eating lunch, dinner or just having an after-work-beer. And you'll never see a sad face at this place.
Great beer, good food and a very pleasant atmosphere. I stumbled upon this place on the way to my hotel for the night from the train station only to find out that the locals rate it very highly too. Good range of craft beers and an enjoyable menu with hearty servings.
