Been using Highwoods surgery for 13 years. Never had a problem. If ringing in the morning asap at 8.00am we have NEVER not been able to get an appointment the same day, almost always in the morning. We have had to make appointments about once every month or so through 2 bad medical problems which were spotted early and treated exceptionally well at Colchester General.The staff are great if you treat them politely and joke with them. Friends at other surgeries are always saying they can't get appointments for weeks. So stop moaning and think yourself lucky or try another surgery. Good luck with that.
This surgery need to get a better phone system where you are in a que once you call at 0800 instead of making 77 calls to try and get through and get told there is no appointment until 15.10.
Shocking service. Receptionist sends you up with no indication doctor is running late (not once have they ever managed my expectations). Over thirty minutes behind schedule and absolutely no apology. Disgusting considering we pay their wages.
