Would deffo not recommend be aware of miscommunication and lack of info

I agree with the other review here about this surgery's receptionists not recognising mental health or taking it seriously at all.The uncaring North Hill receptionists failed to produce my prescription despite me giving them several days notice, and when I chased it up, the receptionist basically pretended there was no log of my prescription and she also still didn't organise it for me. The receptionist refused to give me an emergency appointment to sort out my meds and have a medication review which I need by law, even despite me having run out of my medication due to their receptionists inability to perform basic tasks and sort my prescription in advance. I had to keep calling all day to chase it up to then have another rude receptionist actually hang up on me in the middle of finally processing my prescription and booking me an ECG appointment. So, as a result of the very rude and to be honest pretty nasty receptionists here, I still have not got my prescription and also have not been booked in for an ECG which is an abuse of their position as receptionist. I asked for the name of the first rude receptionist, so I could complain to the practice manager, and the other receptionist refused to give me her name, so they clearly back each other up in their abuse towards patients. It is a real shame that people like this are allowed to work anywhere near people in need, and I am sure I am not the first person they have refused an emergency appointment. Utterly shocking behaviour. I will be telling my GP all about their recent behaviour when I see her. Another thing that the receptionists do here, which is amazing-they actually lied to me and told me that my GP was not even in on the day of my last appointment. I know this as a duty doctor told me, and the proof was that he made me an appointment with her the same day the receptionist claimed she wasn't even in. These receptionists are causing serious harm to people with this sort of immature and wreckless behaviour and they need to be investigated and ultimately removed as they are abusing peoples human rights.

While some of my friends and family find it difficult to find a doctor willing to listen to them and to suggest more than taking paracetamol, I found here one of the best GPs I have ever talked to. Dr. Claire Cooper always pays attention, takes one's worries seriously, listens carefully and sent me for future medical investigations every time it was the case. I think she does a brilliant job and I am happy that there are still people like her in the NHS.
