The worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. The staff are rude, know nothing about basic housing law and are completely incompetent. They don't seem to have a clue what they're doing and repeatedly get things wrong. If I could give zero stars, I would. If you are thinking of using boydens, my advice is to save yourself a headache and avoid at all costs ! They are appalling.
I have just had the pleasure of selling my property through Boydens. Like anything, nothing was straight forward, but through no fault of Boydens. They handled every challenge with professionalism and with me as their client always at the front of the decision making process. A big thank you to Natalie who was exceptional.
Boydens have been my agents for over 15 years as a Landlord, and I've been very happy with the service received from all staff I have dealt with over that time. Any issue I've raised has been responded to positively and usually resolved quickly. There may have been a few requested items missed over the years, but these have always been minor; anything important is given the attention it needs. As a landlord (and at times, one who was overseas), it has made for an easy life, knowing that the teams will deal with finding me tenants, engagement of contractors for maintenance, and deal with these issues on my behalf, or the niggles I have raised.Given this history, I have also recently engaged Boydens for a property sale, and was happy to find a similar high level of service, support, and attention.My thanks go to all who I have dealt with.
We would like to thank Boydens Colchester and in particular Darren Chapman for their help and support in selling two properties over the past 2 or 3 years for us. They have gone out of their way to make the process as pain free as possible. We had plenty of viewings (including some while we were away undertaken by Boydens at no extra cost to us) and managed to receive a favourable outcome on both properties and at a very competetive rate of commission.
