Bit of a tired place really. The ground floor room was average but a bit musty. That said, its not expensive and I found the staff friendly and very accommodating.
Decent beds, a good-sized tv, and lashings of HOT bath water (worth two stars by itself). The staff are friendly and welcoming. There are a few minor quirks, .and the breakfast could be improved, but overall we were satisfied and believe the rooms are good value.
Watch for the SNACKS & DRINK in your room, they are NOT FREE/INCLUDED. It does state that in the room documentation, but for some people they enter the room and think "Oh that's nice" - when it's not nice at all!!!! Otherwise generally a nice place. I never got my 10 refunded for deposit on the room. So scored lower.
Lovely comfortable warm hotel, spotless and staff friendly and helpful. Very generous Buffet breakfast offer and products good quality. Our group of five ladies would definitely recommend to others
Hotel is pleasant, well fitted out with decent bar and food. However be sure to put in your car registration at the desk or you will get a nice parking fine in the post. I am currently appealing mine. The hotel have been very helpful regarding this but it is a shame that the need to register the car was not made clear.
